How Service of Process Works for an Oregon Business

Service of process is how the legal system formally notifies a business that it's involved in a court matter — most often, that someone is suing it. Who Actually Delivers It

A sheriff or private process server hands the papers to your registered agent in person — not to you. The agent must accept them and get them to you promptly.
